Senior Mentor & Project Manager (Residential Construction & Remodeling)

Location: Northwest Arkansas

Company: Right Hand Home

Job Type: Full-Time/ Part Time

We’re seeking a seasoned construction professional—someone with the maturity, leadership, and practical know-how to guide projects and people. This role combines the oversight of a traditional Project Manager with the responsibility of mentorship and structure-building, ensuring crews and younger managers succeed.

While we welcome applicants who are at the tail end of their career and looking to pass along hard-earned wisdom, we’re equally open to someone earlier in their career who is ambitious, steady, and ready to grow into a trusted mentor role.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee active projects (fences, decks, roofing, remodels, storm repair) with a steady hand

• Walk jobs before, during, and after—offering guidance, catching details, and ensuring quality

• Provide hands-on mentorship to field crews and junior managers, teaching them the right way to build and manage

• Help set schedules, organize crews, and keep projects moving without unnecessary stress

• Step in as the calm problem-solver when challenges arise

• Be the bridge between clients, subs, and crews—keeping communication clear and respectful

Supporting Estimating & Budgets

• Work with our estimating team to ensure scopes and budgets are realistic for our crews and processes

• Share insight on labor, materials, and sequencing to set targets that are achievable in the field

• Flag potential overages or gaps early, before they become problems

• Keep projects aligned with budget expectations from top to bottom, while teaching younger managers how to think about cost control

What We’re Looking For

• Solid, practical knowledge of trades (carpentry, roofing, siding, etc.)

• 10+ years experience in construction, remodeling, and/or restoration preferred

• Natural mentor who enjoys teaching and sharing knowledge

• Reliable, organized, steady presence without being rigid

• Comfortable communicating with both homeowners and crews

• Tech skills are a bonus, but not required—we’ll support you either way

(Extras like Spanish/English bilingual ability, insurance job experience, or permitting knowledge are a plus but not essential.)

What You’ll Get

• Pay range: $55,000–$75,000 depending on experience

• Performance bonuses for smooth, on-time projects

• Flexible hours and schedule—this is a support role, not a grind

• Mileage reimbursement or company vehicle

• Paid time off

• The satisfaction of shaping younger builders and leaving a legacy in the trade

Why This Role?

This position is ideal for someone who is seasoned, steady, and solutions-oriented—whether that means you’ve got decades in the field and want to step into a lighter, mentor-focused role, or you’re younger but ambitious, with the maturity and skills to rise into a leadership role. Either way, you’ll have the opportunity to guide projects, train crews, support estimating, and strengthen the systems that make jobs succeed.

Why Join Us?
We’re builders—of spaces, systems, and great relationships. We value craftsmanship and care in everything we do, and that includes how we treat our people. You’ll be joining a close-knit team with growth potential, flexibility, and the opportunity to shape how things run behind the scenes.

Why Work With Us?
We’re not just selling services—we’re building trust and improving homes. You’ll be part of a growing company that values integrity, craftsmanship, and connection. If you’re motivated and ready to hustle, this is a great place to make real money while making a real difference.
